Snowfarming is an efficient method for preserving snow throughout the warm months and making it usable again for the next winter season. The specially developed, robust, highly UV-resistant, highly reflective, and breathable fleece helps effectively protect snow reserves from heat, sunlight, and melting.
Sunlight is reflected to a high degree. At the same time, the fleece’s low thermal conductivity reduces heat transfer from the surrounding air, significantly slowing down the melting process. The optimized surface structure prevents snow from sliding off. Water can largely run off the surface, thus contributing less to the melting process.
