Optiforce® by Landolt is the continuous filament system that forms the basis for our Datex® geotextiles.
The pioneering production process for Optiforce® integrates several manufacturing stages: polypropylene is smelted in an extrusion line, pressed into filaments through spinning glands and then processed to make a fibre cable. After mechanical and thermal treatments, the fibre cable attains a very high ratio between break resistance and fibre mass. The continuous fibres are then needle punchedtufted to create the Landolt Group’s geotextiles – tried-and-tested products of unrivalled quality. A certified quality assurance system monitors production, starting when the polypropylene granulate is delivered to us through to delivery of the geotextile rolls to our customers. Datex® with Optiforce® by Landolt means more break resistance per kilogram and less weight per square metre.
