Opticoat® – the long-life anti-slip coating

Opticoat^® developed by Landolt is an extremely long-lasting adhesive coating for nonwovens.

Opticoat^® is not an adhesive that is applied at isolated points on the rear side of the nonwoven: it is a high-tech composite made of fibres and adhesive – a long-life anti-slip coating that never sticks. This product is ideal for protective nonwovens such as Floorliner^® that guarantee a high level of safety thanks to excellent adhesion, with no gluing onto the objects or the floor. A milestone in Landolt technology.

Opticoat^®: the adhesive surrounds the fibres, making a deep and firm bond with them.

The result: an anti-slip coating that offers optimal adhesion but never sticks.

Normal adhesive coating: the adhesive is sprayed onto the fibres at isolated points.

The result: the composite is not firm so it detaches due to wear, and the adhesive properties decrease.
