The Landolt Group – a step ahead in innovation
Innovation has been driving us ahead ever since the Landolt Ropeworks was established in 1884 at Näfels (in the Canton of Glarus, Switzerland). The ropeworks soon developed into a textile company, and the changeover to nonwovens started in about 1960.
Nowadays, the Landolt Group is well-known and renowned the world over for its innovative nonwoven fabrics. At our sophisticated plants, we convert continuous filaments and staple fibres into a wide range of standard items, and work closely with customers to develop taylor-made solutions for the most demanding applications.
Innovation also means quality assurance. We are certified to ISO 9001.
Our vigorous approach also aims to combine maximum innovative strength with optimal quality, based on fully integrated production from granulate smelting all the way through to packaging our continuous fibre nonwovens.
