Underground extension in Vienna (Austria)

Approx. 10,000 m² of Froma™ were used on the construction site of the U2 in Vienna.

This nonwoven was used for protection, draining and separating purposes on crossing the Danube.

It was necessary to partly freeze the river in this area while the building work was in progress.

This underground railway line is being built for the European Football Championship 2008 and runs from the Inner City to the Stadium.
